Rolls Royce Ghost

Rolls Royce Ghost
Rolls Royce Ghost was launched in 2009. It is one of the most powerful on road offering from the Rolls Royce stable. The car was first seen at the Geneva Auto Show March 2009. You can say it’s smaller, more affordable then Rolls Royce Phantom. Literally with several years of testing and teasing concepts, Rolls finally was able to come up with a new production car. The design lines are dominated by majestic ‘Yacht’ styling. It is unmistakeably classic rolls design that makes Ghost stand out from the crowd.
There aren’t many eye catchy dissimilarities between the Phantom and Ghost. It measures 540cm from grille to rear bumper, 40 cm less the Phantom, Kerb weight of around 2.5 tonne. It has a regular 6.6-litre twin-turbocharged V12 which produces a whopping 555 BHP and 575lb of torque of which 450lb is idle, Performance 0 - 60 MPH in just 4.7 seconds. Honestly speaking a car which weighs 2.5 tonnes moving this much mass in just 4.7 seconds is quite an achievement. That’s faster than BMW M3 and as quick as Audi A6. The Ghost rides on air suspensions which makes the ride effortless and serene.
On the features list the Ghost scores as much as your expect from any Rolls Royce. It is loaded with gadgets which will make any man feel like a boy and just play with them. Its gizmos wardrobe is full of techy stuff you name it i.e. auto-close power doors, trunk lid, new navigation system with mystic new glare. Headliner with fibre optic points covering the whole roof creating a clean cloud free night experience. Plush carpets, night vision camera, array of mod cons and here and force, and don’t forget those umbrellas hidden in each front door panel (you might need them, just in case)
In the end, it may not be small or affordable car for masses, but then it’s Rolls Royce a luxurious, magnificent, massively fast Saloon. The Ghost is available to purchase with a price tag starting at £ 165,000.
