Jaguar XFR

Jaguar XFR
Jaguar XF is the replacement of the S type and has been on road since 2008. Jaguar has launched a new more powerful variant XFR this september. XFR is the most powerful saloon offering from Jaguar to date. With mighty supercharged engine and 503BHP (Brake Horse Power) at disposal, XFR can do 0-60 mph in just 4.7 Sec and 100 mph under 10 sec. The 3.0 V6 model produces 369 lb-ft of torque. It uses an innovative “parallel sequential turbocharger system “The speed of this thing is simply unbelievable. There is a speed limiter at 155mph, but an unrestricted Jag would hit around 198mph, which is almost touching the holy grail of 200mph.Thats quite fast. The transmission is superb in all the variants of the car. The car’s variants start from 2.2 Diesel SE 4dr which costs £ 30,950 to 5.0 V8 Supercharged 4dr which costs £65,350. When you put your foot down, you can listen to that roar from the exhaust. Such a symphony it is. The grunt the engine produces is breath taking.
The new XFR doesn’t looks like a growling bulging monster. But it has an engine and torque which sifts the mass with unreliable force. It has a great automatic gear box. When you sit inside it’s very comfortable. A superb 4 door saloon, which looks way better than its predecessor S type. The tail looks bit similar to the Aston. But still we love it to pieces. The boot’s huge at 540 litres, the rear seats are very comfortable and in front it feels like a cruise liner. It had a stereo from Bowers and Wilkins and the system works well. The standard car is fitted with climate control, sat nav, electrically adjustable seats, a leather interior and parking sensors. And the one to go for would be the 3.0 Litre diesel engine 237bhp model, offering better fuel economy and lower CO2 emissions. All in all a really attractive car and a definite one for those who want an alternate to BMW 5 series, Mercedes E class, Audi A6.
